BTX 2013 will be the first ever Bali focussed B2B travel show where participating 30 hospitality and tourism stakeholders would get the opportunity to show case their products and services to the top 30 chosen quality international and domestic buyers. The event is scheduled to be held from 12th until 14th June 2013 at Ramayana Resort and Spa Bali. With one and half days of comprehensive business session combined with extensive leisure activities for its delegates in a single B2B platform, BTX 2013 would be a great opportunity to grow ones network, generate qualified business leads and partner with the major objective to advance product knowledge and optimize business revenue.

Indonesia’s economy is growing at over 6% and air travel in the country is increasing by 16% which is recognized as the most stable growth in the world by The World Bank and Asian Development Bank, with growth in trade predicted to rival that of Singapore and Hong Kong. Domestic tourist traffic is rapidly expanding with an estimated 245 million domestic travels in 2012 and USD 18 billion total in expenditure. The country is also expected to achieve its target of 10 million in-bound tourists by 2014. Outbound player also benefit from 15% increase stimulated by airline new connectivity and as well as additional frequency by LCCs. Against this background The launch of BTX recognizes the growing importance of Bali as a B2B Travel and Tourism destination and promises to be a must-attend event for buyers and sellers from Indonesia and around the globe. Boasting good accessibility and connections with major cities around the world, great infrastructure and a reputation as tourist’s paradise, Bali promises to be an excellent host venue for this prestigious travel mart. Lately with the development of quite a number of new properties, hostel and resorts, BTX also aims to contribute its bit to support Bali to tap more markets in order to fulfill these massive additional room inventory.
